Your Guides on the Journey

Every Jungleyoga Teacher Training involves at least 3 teachers as well as assistants, to help you get the most out of your Yoga Teacher Training experience. All of our teachers have many years of teaching and practice experience. Each of them brings something unique and special so that students get diverse and unique yoga teachings from a variety of traditions and viewpoints.

We encourage an atmosphere of openness, acceptance and humour to provide a safe space for all types of people to explore yoga and themselves.

Randall O'Leary
Randall O'Leary

Randall O’Leary (Ram Giri Baba) is the director and founder of Jungleyoga.
A dedicated explorer of yoga since 1991, alongside his studies of classical Hatha Yoga, Randall has studied a variety of styles including Iyengar, Jivamukti and Viniyoga.
He began teaching at The Sanctuary Thailand in 1995 and has devoted more than 20 years of his life to sharing this knowledge through classes, workshops and teacher trainings worldwide.

On the mat, Randall’s teaching style is primarily focused on cultivating an asana practice that builds & sustains a high level of Prana – our life force energy.

His emphasis on developing a Sustainable Yoga practice begins with the breath.
Within each training Randall shares a unique approach to Pranayama. Inspired through his studies of Tai Qi and Viniyoga, this system gradually deepens into Advanced Pranayama sequences which allow his students access to a comprehensive, embodied understanding of the infinite power within the breath.

Randall’s expression of Asana initially works to ground each student into a solid foundation, emphasizing structural alignment while honoring the unique expression of each individual body. His approach is inspiringly simple, yet offers incredible depth. From this strong foundation, Randall is capable of directing his students toward a full spectrum of deep asana. He supports each student to move toward their individual goals, while simultaneously encouraging them to abandon the need to achieve anything and embrace their breath wherever they are.

In 2006, after many years studying with his Guru in India, Randall was initiated into the ancient Indian spiritual order of Sadhus and is honored to share many unique tools from his sacred tradition. Randall’s classes are enriched with philosophy stemming from his studies of Hatha Yoga, Tantra, Ayurveda & Indian Mysticism, and are balanced by his unapologetically playful nature and love for Reggae music.

It is his aim to inspire every student to pursue a practice that is overflowing with energy and joy that spills out into their world and transforms their relationship with life itself.

Simone MacKay
Simone MacKay

Raised and educated in Switzerland, Simone began her life of service in early childhood, saving up her monthly allowance and sending it to international aid organisations. After years of working as a counselor specialising in women’s issues, she trained with Yoga Arts in Australia before teaching throughout the greater Asian realm, enjoying the simple, free and romantic life of a traveling Yogini. Initially inspired by Ashtanga, she moved on to study Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Therapy before founding the School of Sacred Arts (‘SOSA’) in order to share the gift of yoga more deeply.

Increasingly drawn to nature-based spirituality, that speaks to the indigenous soul within us all, she brings this essence into her yoga practice and teaching, holding space with a gentle grace in her trainings, workshops and retreats around the world.

She is certified with the Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500.

Tina Nance
Tina Nance

Tina is trained in both Classical Indian Yoga & Chinese Taoist Yoga, & specialises in Yin Yoga & Yoga Therapy.

Tina is deeply passionate about creating opportunities for people of all backgrounds to connect directly and experientially with their body-mind and Spirit. She teaches a fusion of Indian Hatha Yoga & the 5 Element Meridian System of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Tina’s yoga is focused on consciously unraveling our body-mind’s contractions with guided awareness. Cultivating the art of deep presence, focused awareness and conscious breath within each asana, exploring all eight limbs of yoga simultaneously, on the mat. Re-establishing health and harmony by un-obstructing the flow of prana through the body’s energy channels, while connecting to our innate essence as loving presence, containing & embracing all that arises . Inviting Integration of body, mind and Spirit.

Haylee Clare
Haylee Clare

Haylee believes that the practice of Yoga is a passage through which we may draw strength, foster self-respect and cultivate joy, vibrancy & harmony within all aspects of life.

She deeply values diversity and spontaneity. She draws upon her studies of Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Kundalini, Yin & Tigress Yoga.  Haylee’s class unfolds organically according to the capacity and mood of the students. She teaches Asana which is accessible, nourishing & energizing, incorporating a broad scope of mantra, mudra & meditation techniques of Yogic, Tantric, Taoist & Buddhist origin. Pranayama is a core element of every class.

She encourages her students to move from a place of authenticity: to enter into a process of self-enquiry and feel empowered to set their own pace & intensity according to their intention in any given moment.
Her aim as a teacher is to encourage a playful engagement with the truth of the body. She hopes to inspire students to respect their boundaries and explore their practice from a place of presence and loving kindness.
